We keep things simple - and if you ever get stuck, live support is built right into the app to help.

How long does setup take?

You can start using Cactus within minutes of subscribing. Just upload your invoices — once we process them, your inventory is created automatically. We also connect to your POS (Toast, Shift4, and others) seamlessly, so your sales data shows up in your dashboard right away.The only step that takes some time is the recipe review, where we need your help: you'll check the ingredients, quantities, and units in each recipe. This usually takes about 30–45 minutes and completes your setup.For a single-location restaurant, we aim to have everything ready within 2–3 days.

Can I get started without changing my current POS or vendors?

Cactus works with your existing tech stack, so there's nothing to change. We integrate with most popular POS systems (Toast, Shift4, Cake, and others), so you can keep the one you already use. If you need it, we can also connect to labor systems like ADP to pull in your labor data. And when it comes to accounting, we integrate directly with QuickBooks to send your data over automatically, or export it to other systems like Accounting Power.

Do I have to enter invoices manually?

No. You upload invoices to Cactus from your phone/tablet/desktop. We automatically process all your invoices.

How much does it cost for a single location?

Accepted Answer

$49 per month per location for Starter pack. $149 per month per location for the Growth pack which has more advance features such as Forecast, P&L Reporting etc. Both the plans have no contract and you can cancel anytime.

Question 7

Can my staff use it, or is it just for me?

Accepted Answer

You can create multiple users in Cactus. For your Staff, you can choose the Business Role which has limited access - mainly to view reports. You as the owner can choose the Admin role which has access to all the features.
